PROJECTS
End-to-End Encrypted File Sharing System — CS 161, UC Berkeley
- Designed and implemented client application for secure file sharing system in Golang, learning language concurrently
- Developed design in accordance with design requirements, API, and threat model
- Built and tested client application for functionality and security, using Git to facilitate collaboration and version control
- Authored and edited final design document, describing and diagramming implementation details
Exploiting Memory Vulnerabilities — CS 161, UC Berkeley
- Analyzed C source code for vulnerabilities, using GNU Debugger to inspect program memory and identify exploitable data
- Engineered and tested exploits in Python, delivering x86 shellcode to demonstrate privilege escalation vulnerabilities
- Authored documentation describing vulnerabilities and explaining structure of exploits
ChocoPy Compiler — CS 164, UC Berkeley
- Built ChocoPy compiler from beginning to end, analyzing formal language specification to develop program capable of compiling source files written in ChocoPy (a dialect of Python) source language for RISC-V target architecture
- Implemented and tested each phase of compilation, using JFlex and CUP for lexing and parsing, Java for semantic analysis, type checking, and code generation, and Git to facilitate collaboration and version control
Graph Partitioning Solver — CS 170, UC Berkeley
- Developed graph partitioning solver, adapting known algorithm for the wedding seat problem to generalized form
- Surveyed algorithms publications for efficient solutions to graph partitioning problems, identifying possible reductions
- Designed and implemented modified versions of DSatur and TabuCol in Python using the NetworkX graphing package
Optimizing Image Classifiers — CS 61C, UC Berkeley
- Profiled and optimized code for a convolutional neural network using loop unrolling, SIMD, multithreading
- Ported image classifiers to Apache Spark framework for use on cluster of AWS EC2 servers
Royal Game of Ur — August - October 2021
- Designed and developed turn-based, multiplayer game, implementing game logic, AI, TCP networking, text interface
- Researched source rules and gameplay, converting requirements into object-oriented Python code
- Designed and developed physics-based, multiplayer game, implementing physics & graphics in Lua for TIC-80
